Our Federation Retiree Chapter is open to retirees of St. Tammany Parish School System who worked as teachers and/or school support personnel. We are a growing chapter and excited to welcome all new members! Members are afforded most of the same benefits of working members for a discounted annual fee. We gather at quarterly luncheon meetings at various restaurants in our parish to socialize and keep abreast of the happenings in our school system. We sometimes ask for volunteers for different projects/events, but no one is expected or required to do so. We simply enjoy each other’s company as well as the benefits gained from our membership (i.e. discounts on Southwest Airlines tickets, rental cars, florists, shoes, etc.) Please feel free to contact our office at (985) 888-1750 and ask for Trudy or Sarah for more information.
