Dear Members,
I know you are all probably counting down to the Thanksgiving holidays just like us, as it has been a long beginning of the school year. As the Federation continues to work hard towards improving wages, benefits, and working conditions for all employees, we believe it is also important to offer events that will help us build community with the goal of building a stronger union. Therefore, we have a couple of events available to members to help us have fun, relax, and get to know each other a little more.
The first event is a virtual BINGO hosted by the St. Tammany Federation president, executive vice president, and vice president that will take place in the comfort of your own home. It will be at 7:00 P.M on November 17th. You will need to use this form: https://forms.gle/3C6FdWQKBq462D2q6 to register. We need your personal email address to be able to send you your BINGO cards and Zoom link.
The second event is a New Orleans Pelican’s game. This will be on November 19th at 7:00 P.M. The tickets ($35/ticket) will be buy one, get one free for up to 25 members! Therefore, you need to get this form in ASAP. The deadline to turn in the form is Wednesday, November 17th. Please email sttamfed@charter.net to get a form to fill out, or click here.
Disclaimer: When we planned this event, we didn’t take into account the restrictions of the city of New Orleans so please be aware that you have to show proof of vaccination or negative rapid COVID test that was taken within 72 hours of the start of the game (not an at home COVID test).
